In his own very special, authoritive, but highly amusing manner, te late and much missed Rivers captions photos of the cars that he enjoyed over a long lifetime starting in 1928 as Riding Mechanic to no less a worthy than Malcolm Campbell at Brooklands as a fifteen year old Schoolboy . He was closly involved with both ERA & BRM and between times built and ran various specials, MGs and HWMs , mostly in hillclimbs. A great book with many mouthwatering motors, the pictures mainly from his private collection are of excellent quality. 157 large landscape pages. Book and jacket in very good condition
