French Text history of the Race Circuit at Albi, that during those years hosted International Motor & Motor Cycle Grand Prix races on it's classic triangular closed-road layout between towns and villages. The events just before World War 2 featured voiturette ERAs and Maseratis, those in the early 50s included F1 BRM V16s and Ferrari 375s - Fangio famously won the BRMs only European race there in 1952.
