Aston Martin DBR1 Salvadori Le Mans 1960

Border Rievers entered Aston Martin DBR1 At Le Mans during the 1960 24 hours race. The car was driven by Jim Clark/Roy Salvadori (the latter seen at the wheel here) and it finished 3rd behind two Ferrari Testa Rossas. This was one of Clark's first big international successes and one of very few that wasn't at the wheel of a Lotus! It was Salvadori's second top-3 result in two years - he was the winner for Aston Martin in 1959!
