"..The Construction of Modern Cars Steam, Petrol, Electric, and Petrol Electric" 1904 edition of the 1902 original, revised and enlarged. Based on the French book "L'Automobiles sur Route" by Lavergne and considered a landmark guide to all things automobile related at the time. Interesting that in, in effect covers early Hybrid technology as well as Petrol, Steam and regular Electric. 832 pages with over 800 illustrations. The book is the size of a large house brick and weighs about 5 lbs (2.3kg) so will cost extra postage overt and above the flat rate which is based on a 1 kg book. The condition is good for it's age. The binding is a bit slack but then it's had a huge weight on it since 1904... The hinge between front cover and first page has been beefed up with book tape to prevent this getting worse. Some wear at the edges and corners as one would expect.
