Lovely collection of colour photos with suitable reminiscences by the author, am MP in London who's passion for photographing the end of the steam era led to the writing of several books.
This one features the grimy rusty dusty reality of later steam locos in drab BR liveries and clearly not being maintained with much attention to appearances under the BR banner.. but with huge charm and character!
