Ford GT40 1967 BOAC 500 - Colin Crabbe/ Dave Charlton

Recently printed up in a commercial darkroom.
Sizes 7x5 inch (178x125mm) or 10x7 inch (250x175mm)

Ford GT40 #54 at the 1967 BOAC 500 event driven by Colin Crabbe/Dave Charlton car (chassis 1021) which was a no starter due to a practice accident.

The car featured a 'blister' on the driver's roof which was used to accomodate the taller drivers in the very low cockpit - Crab be himself is a large man. This photo features in Colin's 2016 autobiography
