Photo of the rare open-top Ford GT40 Spyder (chassis 112) of Peter Sutcliffe. This shot was taken at the August Bank Holiday 1966 Brands Hatch Guards Trothy a race in which the car was 6th overall behind 3 'Group 7' cars and 2 other GT40s.The car was an ex FAV works entry for Attwood and Whitmore in the 1965 Nurburgring 1000kms. Sutcliffe ran in in 1966-67 and having added a roof co-driving with Richard Bond who entered it in the 1967 Rhiems 12 hours where it was 7th overall.
Recently printed up in a commercial darkroom.
