Nice photo, printed up in a commercial photo lab using the original 35mm negative, of the famous Frazer Nash "CMH 500" the twin supercharged 'Shelsley model' raced by A F P Fane to great success in the mid 1930s.

This is a rare shot of the car in the paddock at BoNess Hillclimb in Scotland in August 1938 but it's a bit of a mystery as I am not sure Fane actually drove it that day... BoNess was a popular venue from the late 1930s to 1960s and ran rounds of the British Hillclimb championship for many years. Saldy the upper part of the hill was sold for house building in the 60s and it was lost to the sport untill revived in 2008!
