The F1 editor of AUTOSPORT for many many years and now editor of MOTOR SPORT selects 25 racing drivers who's careers, driving and approach to the sport inspired him as a youngster and later as an insider. Names vary from Rosemeyer in the 1930s through Amon and Clark in the 60s to Villeneuve and Prost in the 1980s. Some curious choices, but then the athor's preface rather disowns the book's title as being far to general and oblique for the contents.
Great photos , but this being the softback edition, it does not feature the portait artwork by Craig Warwick found in hardbacks.
