English text version of the classic title tracing the GP De l'AFC... the French Grand Prix as we no know it, from it's inception to the ourbreak of WW1 in 1914. Fabulous archive photos, many produced almost full page and strikingly clear for a book of this age.
Un numbered pages but must be around 250 at a guess and the format is approx 10x10 inches (250x250mm) . The book originally had a slip case, now missing, but on almost every one that you see listed, if there is a slip case it is damaged, it appears the majority of the print run was the same. This example has some damage to the top of the spine . There is a little warping evident across the top edge of the text pages which indicates historic storage in cold conditions although the book is not damp now. The cover cloth is a little worn and marked but not badly so the price is lower than normal to reflect this.
