Le Mans winner and larger-than-life personality Duncan Hamilton in the cockpit of his HWM F2 car, sitting on the grid at Winfield in Scotland. The date is October 1951 and he was one of three HWM team cars in the F2 race - Moss and Abecassis were the other two - and the race also included a couple of Altas and a Ferrari 166 (visible in the background).
