Nicely done history/guide to the famous 'getaway car of choice' for all British bank robbers of the 50s and 60s... the sporty Jaguar withit's twin cam XK 6 cylinder engine and nimble handling was also a c=great car in competition, an early dominating feature in the BTCC of it's day as in rallying, a sensible family car for the well heeled and a status symbol for the managing director who fancied something more rakish than a Bentley or a Daimler. Lots of detail and lovely period and contemporary photos. 160 large pages, very good clean book, jacket a little worn along the top edge and the white areas have some tanning at the edges too, from shelving/storage. Sounds more than it is.
