The 1952 Production car race at Silverstone, which supported the International Trophy.

In this shot of Ecurie Ecosse team Jaguar XK120 of Ian Stewart sits in the paddock with the famous mechanic Wilkie Wilkinson at the wheel. Stood by the back ofthe car is team driver Bill Dobson and on the far side of the car, leaning over twards them is team patron David Murray.

In the background is the Ecosse team transporter of the time, alongside that of Irish racer Bobby Baird. In the race, Stirling Moss won with the works C Type Jaguar. Stewart was the leading XK120 in 9th. Neither Dobson or Murrey raced in the event itself, although both were regular drivers for the team - which included a Ferrari F2 car at this time.
