Action photo of the great Ronnie Peterson at speed in the Lotus 78 during Qualifying for the Daily Express Trophy F1 race at Silverstone , a famous event in which the race was blighted by heavy rain and Ronnie along with several other top names crashed in the opening laps! In fact I think Ronnie might have gone off before the race even started on one of the rivers across the flooded track and started from pit lane...but either way his race didn't last long!
