This event was chaos for the team, it's revolutionary new 88 was tried in first practice and then outlawed by the officials... the previously un-raced 87, the same car in effect stripped of it's controversial aerodynamics, was put together for the second day, Elio De Angelis got his on the grid, team mate Mansell didn't as his car had barely been complete by the time he sat in it!The problematic 88 never raced.This isn't a great photo but it is a rare one!
