Lotus VIII 7 DPU photo at Silverstone c.1955

Amateur photo of Lotus Mk VIII reg 7 DPU (which sound like a well known car to me but I can't place who the driver was) at speed at maybe Silverstone or possibly Goodwood (are those Poplar trees off to the right?) in around 1954 or 55.
