251 very large pages softback biography of the great all rounder with wins from F1 to USAC dirt ovals, NASCAR to Indy to World Sports Cars, driving for Ferrari, Ford, Lotus, Alfa Romeo, Lola etc. Great book includes masses of family snaps from Mario's youth in Italy and early days on the dirt ovals in the USA, on to his stellar Indycar career and on-off F1 career in the early 70s culminating in the 1978 world title. Ends with his later career in CART racing, latterly teamed up with Nigel Mansell for the Newman Hass toutfit and his vain attempts to add the KLe Mans title to his CV. Big book, has a few indets on the back cover which is a shame and some delamination of the cover top edge.
