Believed to be leading woman racing driver May Cunliffe and her father who was often her riding mechanic in Brooklands and Southport events. Sadly when their Sunbeam Grand Prix car turned over at Southport Alfred was thrown out and killed causing May to abandon motor racing. She raced a 3 litre Bentley as well as the Sunbeam but I cannot find reference to the car shown here.
