10x7 inches (254x178mm) Rare previously unpublished photo of a Mercedes Benz W154 Grand Prix car in the 1938 Donington Grand Prix.
This one could be Seaman, Lang or Von Brautsitsch - the number is not visible.Here it's seen at full speed on the old Starkey' straight, which is now the perimeter round that runs outside the wall, parallel with the current straight of the same name (which you can see on the left edged with telegraph poles).
If you visit Donington today you can drive along this section as it's the access road between the the museum and the exhibition buildings at the top of the car park!
