Three famous motor sport faces on the 1950s, 1958 F1 world champion Mike Hawthorn (left) 1955 & 57 Le Mans 24 hours race winner Ivor Bueb (right) and international rally driver (women's European champion 1956-57) Nancy Mitchell in the Austin J40 pedal car in the centre.
The photos has COVENTRY EVENING TELEGRAPH stamped on the back and as Hawthorn & Bueb won le Mans together in 1955 driving for Jaguar, who were based in Coventry, it might depict a celebration dinner for that success?
There is a pencil not of the back suggesting the figure looking over Bueb's shoulder is future F1 world champion Phil Hill but I have my doubts.
