. From the very early thirties, is my guess, a delightful little book that takes you on circular tour through the South of England in search of the great Cathedrals & Churches that abound our Cities. The tour can start from any point of the map in either direction from Worcester to the NW to Wells in the SW to Chichester in the S or Canterbury in the E, obviously the tour thus includes Winchester, Bath, Gloucester & many other worthies. It is set out in the form of Strip Maps in 101 sections with all the land marks of the day. What a joy to travel that road today & unearth some of these forgotten delights that may have survived. This little book runs to 220 pages including Maps and , Pen & Ink Drawings by Robert L. The book in its red cloth binding & gilt lettering is in Good Condition although the cover cloth is quite faded and the title has more or less vanished from the spine. An unusual item.
