Slim 103 pages softback telling the tale of the 1939 Isle of Man TT Race in which the state funded (you can guess the state..) squad of supercharged BMWs arrive, dominate the TT and do so with with full backing and pomp in a manner already ominously familiar in 4 wheeled Grands Prix racing... but this book is certainly no glorification of the whole situation, quite the opposite and it is dedicated to sacked BMW team rider Leo Steinweg who's racial background meant he was refused a racing licence and a chance to ride in this race despite being a potential winner. .The book is in VGC apart from a small ding to the top right front corner of cover. Very rare now, possibly as the cover illustration is considered offensive (so I have obscured it here just to avoid any problems)
