309 page in-depth story of how the "Hamster" from TV's TOP GEAR crashed a jet powered car at 300mph in 2006 and very nearly died from the resulting brain injuries. The details of how he and his wife Mindy (co author) struggled to cope with his initial coma and subsequent slow recovery , along with initial loss of short term memory and psychological traumas makes for very harrowing reading but untlimately paints a warm portrait of a loving family who thankfully got through the dreadful experience in tact.
