Autobiography of the German racing driver who raced extensively for Mercedes Benz in the 1950s, winning both the Le Mans 24 hours and the Carrera Panamericana Mexico races in the 300SL sports cars and then running as team mate to Fangio and Moss in the 1954-5 Formula One team.
He also finished 2nd overall in the Mille Miglia with a Mercedes and also raced for Alfa Romeo
in that famous event.
