This book covers the 1900-1923 era when the class ran some major events like the COUP DE LA AUTO in France and the 200 MILES RACE at Brooklands . The class was a launch pad for Bugatti in the early 20s and other notable makers included Fiat, Sunbeam, Talbot, Darraq, Vauxhall and Delage. Drivers included Henry Segrave , Albert Divo, Count Zborowski (Of Chitty Bang Bang fame) and Parry Thomas (of BABS fame) .
Really nicely written, very desriptive and talling heroic tales of early motor sport that have mostly been overlooked elsewhere.
374 pages Hardback, very good and clean condition for it's age. Book cloth faded . in a jacket that's actually a not very brilliant colopur copy of a long-lost original. rare.
