1985 biography of the 1950s/60s F1 and Le Mans racer who won the famous 24 hours race for Aston Martin in 1959 and raced in F1 with his own Maserati 250F and various Coopers before becoming the Cooper team manager after he retired from the cockpit in the mid 60s.
Always known to be a hard-nut driver who took no prisoners, he earned as much money as Stirling Moss and was able to retire to Monaco, where of course he had raced many times.
