SPEED CAMERA The Amateur Photography Of Motor Racing (Tompkins 1946)

Unusual book, given when it was published (1946) , possibly the earliest guide to photographing the sport. The author includes many pages of examples from Brooklands, Shelsley Walsh, Crystal Palace and Prescott hillclimb among other late 1930s venues. A nice period piece. Very good book in a jacket that is ragged along the top edges and at the outer corners
