The acknowledged Riley authority: David Styles, does a great job with this book, concentrating on the Sporting Riley in its many derivatives, now one might say: "but all Rileys are Sporting" True, but here then, he sub-concentrates then on the ones with competition pedigree , mostly within the vintage era and early 30s when the marque was at it's peak. 288 pages with massesof period photos from Brooklands, Goodwood, le Mans Shelsley Walsh and the many and various other venues that the cars competed at in works and privateer hands.
There is a section on Riley-people (the likes of Freddie Dixon) a chassis resugster, lots of specs , competition record, drivers, circuits, modifications, in fact every 'snippet' of relevance that it has been possible to include. A superb labour of Love, of which Mr Styles can be well satisfied. A must have for the Vintage Riley Man.Fine condition book and matching jacket. Not quite mint but close.
Rare.
