Superb , highly rated book by the Indy 500 . F1, Trans Am and Can Am star who died in 1975 at the wheel of a Penske F1 car.

A great engineer-driver, Donohgue tells of always trying to always gain what he called  the 'unfair advantage' in his racing cars by making them just that bit more innovative and better set-up.

He developed and drove ultimate 1100bhp twin turbo version of the Porsche 917-30 Can Am car in 1973, dominating the title and also setting world closed-course speed records a long-way the other side of 200mph.

Along the way he also drove Mustangs, Camaros, Elvas, a Daimler Dart, Lola T70s(winning Daytona 24 hrs) , Lotus 20, AMC Javelin, McLaren M16(winning Indy),  Ferrari 512M and many more cars, a great many for his friend and mentor Roger Penske.

2000 edition of an original 1975 publication,  353 pages, Hardback  in very good condition, with  very original jacket that is a little sun-faded at the spine
