The first of a series of books by Dalton on the subject of the Coachbuilders associated with Rolls in the days when you bought a rolling chassis and then had the likes of Hooper of James Young put a body onto it to your own requirements. Covering the period 1907 (Silver Ghost) through to 1939 (Wraith) the principle 15 Coachbuilding Houses of Europe & USA each have a chapter with a further 40 still receiving good coverage in photographic form & caption. The Index lists individual Chassis number to the Coachbuilder concerned and the Body Style selected, referenced to Page.319 pages good condition apart from bumping to top of spine, the jacket has a heavy full length crease down the front and wear round the extremities including some minor repair work.
