Description

Sub-titled: "His life and the history of post-war American Road Racing". His racing career spanned from 1951 to 1966. one of the great names of US road racing in the 50s and 60s, Hansgen raced a mouthwatering selection of the greatest cars of the era from 'Birdcage' Maserati , Scarab, Lister and D Type Jaguars to GT40 and 250LM Ferrari. He also raced at the Indianapolis 500 and was a Lotus in the US Grand Pri. Sadly he died in a track accident with a GT40 at Le Mans in 1966 .400 pges with many photos.
